United StatesI sized down in this dress and it fit better (I am usually a small and got an XS). It will need alterations in my chest area ( I am a 34B) as it hangs loose. Luckily- the dress is priced well so I don’t mind getting alterations. Expect alterations if you buy this dress and size down.

United StatesI ordered this dress for a friend's wedding and did all the necessary measuring before buying to try to avoid any changes needing to be done. Apparently it didn't matter since I still needed to have it altered. I ordered M and I am 5'5 (170lbs); the shoulders/straps are way too long for me, and the top sits too low, and the fabric folds over so you can see the lining. There were comments that the color was off, but that was pretty much the only thing that wasn't off. Color was gorgeous and I still got a ton of compliments.
