Quality material, questionable design
Overall the dress is great and got a lot of compliments. I took a star away for 2 reasons. One, there needs to be an extra small option since the dress runs on the looser side. Second, the way the dress is designed, the tie goes through a hole on the right side then wraps around the back however the hole is too large and it leaves about an inch of bare skin visible on the side. For the price of the dress I should not have to close a hole with safety pins to prevent my side from showing.
Good Quality, Runs Large
I ordered the size medium for an event 6 weeks postpartum. The dress is beautiful and made of good quality fabric— if it had fit, it would have been great! Due to my fluctuating size, I took my measurements and compared them to the size chart to make my choice. Unfortunately, the dress still ran too big, and I didn’t have time to exchange it before the event.
Great for special occasions
I wore the dress to my friends' rehearsal dinner and it was great for that event. Probably would have worked for their wedding too. I appreciated that it came with the ties pulled through the correct holes so I didn't have to guess how to lace it up, just step in and tie it. The dress laid in a really flattering way too, no cupping or gapping around the chest, and the front skirt didn't open up inappropriately. Ties held well so I never felt at risk of it coming undone and flashing anyone. I usually wear a large (5' 8", 165 lbs, 36B, curvy on bottom) but ordered a medium because the large was baggy on me, and the medium fit just right. Really liked the slate blue and the pictures are true to the real color of the dress.
Loved the slate blue. I really loved the wrapy style and was flattering on me.
This dress is made very nicely and is a beautiful color. It will need to be pinned at the busy because the tie is too far down to keep the top closed, but overall it is a great dress!
This item was comically long. The top of the tulip hem started at my ankles and then dragged on the floor behind me even with my tallest heels on. Wouldn't recommend for anyone other than those that are exceptionally tall.
Very pretty dress! Flattering fit.
Item came crammed in a small envelope was very wrinkled. Item was too large and was cheaply made. I returned it. The return process was easy.
This dress is a gorgeous color and the fit is extremely flattering! I will get a lot of use out of this going forward.
- daughters wedding
Way too long
I’m 5’5” and this dress is so long it hits the floor in front and puddles in the back like a train for a wedding dress. Is the model in the picture 7 feet tall!?
This dress was very comfortable to wear. I wore it to my daughters wedding and for many compliments on it. Will definitely wear it again.
Love this Dress
I bought this dress for our Family Portrait and it was PERFECT!!! Love the fit and the color was great. It is so comfortable, too! Would definitely recommend this dress
Dress isn't as it seems
This was my second order from Baltic Born. I first ordered the Katya Ruffle Maxi Dress. The Katya fit a little snug on me, and according to the sizing chart for the Waverly, it fit more snug. So I sized up. This dress was ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE. Do not size up. The quality of the dress is great, however... its supposed to be a mid-length dress, and yes even though I sized up its LONGER THAN FLOOR LENGTH. (and I'm 5'-5"). On top of that, the tag said "Soieblu" not Baltic Born.. So I'm not too sure where they got this from, but the dimensions are WAY off.
