Awesome dress- excellent for winter!
This fabric is light enough that you won’t overheat indoors, but you’ll be nice and warm outside or in air conditioned buildings. Super soft and cozy- but you look elegant!

At my all-time highest weight 2 yrs into the pandemic (5’3” 125#), I’ve been too much for lots of my favorite clothes. Assuming I would never be an XS again, I ordered a S. I was surprised at how roomy it was— I think an XS would’ve been a much better fit, esp in the bust, but as this was final sale (I think), and you can’t exchange (!!!!!!!!!!!) for a different size, I’ll make do via the tailor. It’s at least 4” too long, so needs hemming; and I may see if she can take in the bodice and maybe shorten it a bit to be more a true Empire waist. It sounds like there’s a lot I don’t like, but I DO like it! Lovely fabric, and the drapey sleeves are beautiful. I think some adjustments will make this a great concert performance gown.

I like the fit of this dress a lot. However, the fabric definitely doesn't forgive any lumps or rolls. The color is pretty, but I am fairly pale and it definitely doesn't compliment my skin tone like I would hope. Other than those things, the dress is very nice, and the material thicker so it works well for cooler events which is what I bought it for.
