Positano Maxi Dress

I absolutely loved this dress and was so excited to wear it to a special event. Unfortunately, during the very first time wearing it, the seam on one side completely tore. At first, I thought maybe I had done something to cause it, so I quickly stitched it up and continued wearing the dress.

A couple of hours later, the seam on the opposite side tore in the exact same way. At that point, it was pretty clear to me that this wasn’t just a random tear or something I had done. Two separate seams on opposite sides should not come apart within a few hours of normal wear. Thankfully I had my stitch gun with me or surely they would have tore all the way to the bottom.

I spent good money on this dress and also paid $85 to have it professionally hemmed because I expected to keep it and wear it again. Instead, I spent an important event worrying about my dress continuing to rip and trying to keep it together.

The dress really was beautiful and I received compliments on it, which makes this even more disappointing. For the price, I expected much better quality and definitely expected it to last longer than a few hours. I unfortunately would not recommend this dress based on my experience.
