Mae Midi Dress

First ordered a large based off the measurements provided, the bust was huge and the sleeves wouldn't stay up on the shoulders. Returned it and purchased a medium which fit a lot better but the dress arrived with a busted seam where the back bodice meets the front. Had no time to find a new dress or return so fixed it myself. The elastic at the end of the sleeves is SO tight and you will end up with deep red marks on your arms, even if your arms are small. Besides that the material is nice and pockets are always appreciated. Will take to a seamstress to fix the issues.

I wish I could have liked this dress. But, I couldn't get past the sleeves. The elastic on them is SO TIGHT. I felt like my circulation was being cut off after only wearing it for 15 minutes. I had to return it, because it just wasn't comfortable. Maybe if you have extremely small arms this will be nice? Unsure. Loved the pattern and the length and how it fit everywhere else.

I'm a little over a month postpartum so I wasn't sure if I needed a large or an xl. I ended up ordering a large because my sizing aligned most with the chart. If the dress was a consistent large, it would have fit. However, the chest area is huge and gives me a saggy uniboob, and the elastic on the bottom of the sleeves is super tight. The body of the dress fits relatively well, it just seems ill proportioned. I don't have huge arms by any means, I can fit in every other size large and medium top. As for the chest, I'm breastfeeding but I'm around a 36C if not larger. On the plus side, with the extra room it seems like it can be breastfeeding friendly lol.

The bodice of this dress fits consistently with every other Baltic born dress I own (I am a wedding photographer with 6 in my rotation). The elastic in the arms is so tight on this one that it started to cut off circulation in my arms within the 3 minutes I had it on. I’m on the upper end of an XL but the arms weren’t even close. Had a red line on my arms when I took it off. Gorgeous dress otherwise. The material is really nice in person.
