This dress is lovely. It is conservative and has great coverage and just touches the floor (I am 5'3"). I measure 49"-40"-51" and am very happy I ordered a 3x rather than my usual 2x.
The colors of the fabric are just as pictured and absolutely lovely! They are a real gem teal and the flowers are a beautiful bronze.
The waist tie is completely and easily removable and adjustable.
This dress goes on over the head. No zippers or snaps. The waist has a slightly gathered elastic waist.
4 stars rather than 5 because:
The fabric has NO stretch.
Very minimal twirl.
The skirt is not as flowy as the picture. I will most likely be buying another dress so I can add panels to the original skirt of the dress for actual flow and give it a real gown effect.
