I bought this dress for a November wedding event of mine and it is an absolutely beautiful, cozy dress. It looks even more cute in person. However, it is very oversized. I'm very Medium and curvy through my hips (5'0 and 140; size 8ish), the medium was way too big on me. But I loved it so much that I returned it for the small, hoping it would work for my couples shower. The small fits me beautifully. The oversized fit may work better on a taller person, but on me, it was just a paper bag, especially on the shoulders and arms. I would size down if you're looking for a nice, average sweater dress fit.
