I purchased this dress three months ago and I initially put it on, I was not satisfied. I felt it needed more structure in the waist as I am a size 18 and the dress didn’t do much for my shape. However, when it came to wedding day, I put the dress on styled my hair and put on an adorable heel and I realized that styling the dress took away the feeling that it was “frumpy“. I appreciate that the sleeves hide your arms (my upper arms are one of my insecurities). I also appreciate that the dress has texture and flow to it. It’s lightweight (maxi dress feel) yet appropriate for a cocktail formal dress code. I am 5’3” and weigh #285 and wear a size 2X normally. I purchased this dress as a 1XL, and I do honestly think that if I had sized down to an XL, I probably would’ve gotten the fit I had desired. Overall, I would recommend this dress. I would recommend sizing down one to two sizes from your normal as the dress has give in the fabric and there is no boning or zippers to the dress. This is my second dress purchase from Baltic Born.

Looks exactly the same as the picture. Definitely a roomier silhouette - I’m pregnant and bought this for my baby shower, and even being plus sized with a 32 week bump I had a TON of space and stretch in the dress. the outer layer of tulle does get a bit itchy after a while but otherwise I felt like a princess and was complimented on how beautiful my dress was all day!
